Based on the true story of the Tyldesley family. John Tyldesley and 4 of his sons lost their lives in the explosion at the Pretoria Pit disaster on 21st December 1910 where 344 men and boys lost their lives. This disaster is recorded as the 3rd worse mining disaster in the UK.
